Aston Martin Valkyrie: confirmed its 1.176 HP of power

7 Mar

The Aston Martin Valkyrie is the Hyper-Port of the most talked about lately. They do nothing but get details with dropper. Recently, the AMR Track Performance Pack and its equipment were discussed and details of its gasoline engine were previously mentioned. Although the information was incomplete, since the contribution of electrical mechanics was still unknown, we must not forget that Gaydon has a hybrid propulsion system.

And now it is official a power of 1,176 HP and 900 Nm of torque for the Aston Martin Valkyrie. These figures are somewhat higher than those that were leaked by one of the brand’s collaborators. Because this developed mechanics is signed by partners such as Red Bull Advanced Technologies, Cosworth, Rimac or Integral Powertrain. The inspiration comes from the competition of the 90s and now we can tell you some more technical details.

The Aston Martin Valkyrie has a main gasoline engine, an atmospheric 6.5-liter V12 signed by Cosworth that becomes the most powerful in its category. This block by itself already reached 1,014 CV, although the fact that left everyone with their mouths open was their ability to exceed 11,000 rpm. The internal combustion engine weighs just 206 kg thanks to a light construction and the use of materials such as titanium.

And, of course, you will not be alone. There will be an electrical component next to the V12. The batteries are supplied by Rimac and the electric motor is the work of Integral Powertrain. This system that works in a similar way to a KERS provides that extra 162 HP and 280 Nm that get the spectacular final power of 1,176 HP and 900 Nm. There is already talked of two functions, the Power Boost (takes out all the power) and the Energy Recovery System (energy regeneration). There is already desire to know all the final details of this Aston Martin Valkyrie.
