How does ABS work?

Electronic control unit (ECU) – This unit processes the data from the sensors and, if necessary, intervenes in the braking process. It instantly reacts to a change in wheel speed and sends a signal to the hydraulic module.

Hydraulic Module – This is the component that controls brake fluid pressure. If the wheel begins to lock, the module temporarily lowers the pressure, allowing the wheel to continue spinning, and once stabilized, increases the pressure again. Such a system works so fast that this process occurs several times per second.

Real braking control – Thanks to ABS, the driver can fully control the car even during emergency braking. The wheels do not lock and the car continues to follow the steering wheel, which allows you to avoid obstacles or prevent a collision.
