The Maserati Levante was a revolution at the time of its launch. It was the first SUV of the Italian brand and maintained its sporty and characteristic design. It positioned itself as one of the fastest in the segment with its V6 engine and up to 430 HP. But those of the trident were not satisfied with that and now presents a new top of the range, the Maserati Levante Trophy, which stands out for its more radical aspect and a larger and more powerful mechanics.

If we start from the outside, we can see that the Levante Trophy has a greater presence thanks to the widened bumpers or the lateral air intakes that improve the air flow. The grill with vertical slats is still one of its main features and is linked to Full Matrix LED headlights. It receives huge 22-inch wheels (the largest in the brand) and carbon fiber elements to make it clear that it is the top of the range.

The interior of the Maserati Levante Trophy features sports seats upholstered in leather, with contrast stitching and the logo of the model embroidered on the headrests. You can’t miss carbon fiber moldings, specific graphics or badges with the ‘Trophy’ logo. The highlights are a Maserati clock and a 1,280-watt Bowers & Wilkins sound system and 17 speakers.

As we already anticipated, the Levante Trophy will be the fastest and most powerful of the range. It will achieve this with a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine of Ferrari origin, which curiously is the one with the highest specific power in the brand (156 HP per liter). They are nothing less than 590 HP and 730 Nm of torque which develops and pass directly to the four wheels thanks to the Q4 Intelligent All-Wheel Drive all-wheel drive system.

This allows the Maserati Levante Trophy to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.9 seconds and reach a top speed of over 300 km / h. To cope with the increase in power, the chassis receives a set-up, greater braking power (100-0 km / h in 34.5 meters) or a perfect weight balance of 50:50. To the usual driving modes Normal, ICE, Sport and Off Road; the new ‘Corsa’ with Launch Control functionality is added to get the most out of it.
