The exterior design of the truck was made in the style of the older Titan. In addition, the updated Navara has a special version with an even more brutal appearance. According to unofficial data, in Asia, the model got a turbo diesel from the European version.
The first spy photo of a restyled Nissan Navara pickup without disguise was posted on the Web a few days ago, but it was an average or even basic configuration. And fresh footage published on the Thai website Headlightmag shows the top version, from almost all sides. Moreover, the publication somewhere got hold of clearly official pictures – on them we see a special version of the Pro4X. By the way, the cars seem to have the Frontier inscription on all the images (this name is used, for example, in the States and South America), but in Thailand the pre-reform truck is called Navara. So it is not yet clear: either the pictures were not taken in this country, or the paparazzi came across an export version. But in any case, this is not a Frontier for the USA – a model of the previous generation is still presented there, and a new one will be made on its basis. It’s more convenient for the eyes: Nissan Ariya crossover will receive a horizontal curved display
The front end of the global Navara was designed in the style of the older Titan pickup truck intended for the American market: the model received a huge radiator grille with thick chrome dies on the sides and top, new bumpers, other head optics and taillights. The main difference between the cars in fresh shots from the truck that we saw last week is the LED headlights with integrated LED DRLs (made in the form of the letters L). Navara Pro4X features – black matte grille, the same color insert on the bumper and plastic linings on the wheel arches, orange decor and stickers with the name of the special version.
The interior of the pickup has not yet been lit up. It is possible that inside there will be a new multimedia system with an enlarged screen and other finishing materials.
According to preliminary information, in Thailand, the restyled pickup will be available with a 190-horsepower YS23DDTT 2.3 diesel engine with two turbochargers (the European version of Navara has this). The pre-reform model is offered there with a YD25DDTi 2.5 turbodiesel with 163 or 190 hp, which works in tandem with a six-speed “mechanics” or a seven-speed “automatic”, the drive is rear or full. The updated Navara will celebrate the premiere by the end of this year. Some media even write that such a pickup truck will be presented in November.
