Subaru Outback Silver Edition, completing the equipment of the SUV

The arrival of the new Subaru Outback was an important step forward for the Japanese brand. We are talking about one of its flagship products, a large SUV with many skills that was renewed in some aspects such as the equipment or the mechanical range. In addition, it belongs to that group of cars that can qualify for the ECO label thanks to the LPG versions. Now it arrives in a new special edition, the Subaru Outback Silver Edition, which has some interesting news.

A few months ago, we had the opportunity to test the Outback Black Edition, which was the most complete version of the range. In this case, the Silver Edition is positioned as an intermediate version, halfway between the Executive and Executive Plus S finishes. It is now available to order from the brand’s official dealers with a starting price of 35,600 euros, campaigns already included.

As its own name says, silver will have a great role in the exterior of this vehicle. It is present in the frame of the grill, the rear-view mirrors, the door handles or the contrasting letters; although the rest of the body can still be ordered in one of the ten available colors. Other distinctive elements of this specimen are the 18-inch wheels and the moldings of the standard outdoor pack, while the sunroof that did appear in the Executive has been removed.

Inside the Subaru Outback Silver Edition there are silver trim along the dashboard and seats with mixed Leather and Ultra Suede upholstery in black. For the first time in this model, a “spare wheel pack” is added that includes a rim, tire, jack cork, screw and washer. All the provision of safety systems that come standard and the X-Mode system with the off-road driving modes remain unchanged.

What does not change is the mechanical range, focused on the 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline boxer engine. It delivers 175 hp and 235 Nm of torque and is linked to the Lineartronic continuous variator change. You can receive the ECO Bi-Fuel conversion to run on both gasoline and LPG and purchase the coveted DGT ECO label.
