The Audi Q4 will arrive in 2019 and we already know its design

The arrival of the new Audi Q4 is getting closer. Its production is scheduled for 2019 and will take place in Hungary. In this way, the brand of the four rings will expand its growing range of SUVs. The new Audi model will have a profile similar to the coupe, but in the body of an SUV. The German brand aims with the Q4 to compete with the BMW X2, the Range Rover Evoque or the Mercedes GLA.

The Audi Q4 is inspired by the Audi TT Offroad Concept, which you see in these images and presents a very stylish profile. This model will be between Q3 and Q5. Regarding its size, it seems that it will have a length of 4,500 mm, 110 mm more than the Q3. “The Audi Q4 will be more than a coupe variant of the Q3, in my opinion much more,” said Andreas Mindt, Head of Exterior Design at Audi. Its appearance will allow it to differentiate itself from the rest of the cars in the SUV range.

As we have seen in some recreations that circulate through the networks, the vehicle can accommodate up to five occupants, although the space of the rear seats is still unknown. The future Q4 will have a large 9.2-inch touch screen inside as well as a digital control panel. In the same way, it will incorporate an inductive charging system for telephones.

The new Audi Q4 will use the MQB platform of Volkswagen, the same as the new Audi Q3. In the mechanical section there will be a plug-in hybrid version that will have a range of 50 kilometers in electric mode. This variant will be placed under the e-tron label. The Q4 will also have versions of diesel and gasoline. It is not yet known the price that will be released in Q4 to the market, but so if we know about it, it seems ready to triumph over its direct rivals.
