1. Do not drink and drive: if you are drunk, then you must avoid driving. This is one of the biggest causes for car accidents and so you must avoid it in order to travel safely. Drinking and driving could sometimes lead to fatality.

2. Speeding: This is the other thing that is to be considered. You must avoid speeding over the limit in order to avoid accidents. Thus, you must limit the speed of your car for your life safety and also, for the safety of your vehicles’ conditions.

3. Avoid Distractions: you must always try to avoid distractions while driving. One of the most common types of distraction is the use of the cell phones while driving. This is the key thing to be considered for safe driving. Other than this, pay attention to small distractions ,as they can also lead to accidents within fraction of seconds. There are even other disturbing things such as fixing electronic gadgets, etc.

4. Fatigue: whenever you are feeling tiered then you must try to avoid driving. If you avoid this Fatigue driving, then you can surely drive safely.

5. Must regularly wear your seat belt: the seat belt is for your safety and you must wear it every time when you are driving. Even if you are maintaining the low speed and you are not wearing the seat belt, it can lead you to severe injuries.

6. Severe weather conditions: if the weather conditions are bad, then you must try to maintain your driving safe by keeping the speed low and also paying attention to the surrounding conditions.

7. Avoid following too close to others: you must try to avoid following close to other vehicles. This can protect you from getting trapped in an accident with other vehicles.

8. Look out for other driver’s: you have to be very conscious while driving. Sometimes, even if you are driving safely others may not. So you must keep watch on how others are driving in front of you and behind you.

9. Practice defensive driving: you must try to keep in practice of defensive driving and this can start by avoiding the aggressive driving. Thus, you must try to drive slowly with limited speed and also must follow all the traffic rules regularly.
